No Visa Required for U.S. Travelers Visiting Brazil

Sugar Loaf Mountain

Earlier this week in Brazil Expected to drop Visa Requirements This Year no set timeline was announced as to when visa requirements would be dropped.

Today it's been reported that as of June 17, 2019 U.S. travelers can visit Brazil Visa-Free!

According to the Wall Street Journal,
—Brazil has dropped visa requirements for visitors from the U.S. and several other nations, ahead of new leader Jair Bolsonaro’s first meeting Tuesday with President Trump.
Brazil’s government said Monday that tourists and business travelers from the U.S., as well as Canada, Japan and Australia, won’t need visas to visit the Latin American country as of June 17.

Just my luck, I booked the Gemini Birthday Bash 2019 Turn-up (yes, it's that serious) to Rio De Janeiro for the first week in June.

In the meantime as reported in a recent post, Brazil Expected to drop Visa Requirements This Year, you can still apply for an E-Visa for $44 online.
